The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) 2027 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has voiced strong optimism about securing victory in the upcoming election.
Obi Describes the 2027 Contest as a People versus Government Struggle
According to the former Governor of Anambra State, the 2027 election is not a personal contest but a battle between the Nigerian masses and the current administration, which he says has caused widespread suffering.
He stated, “I will not lose because the election is now between the people and the Nigerian government. I believe that people have suffered enough.”
Obi emphasized that the outcome rests with the citizens, not with any individual leader, adding that even legal challenges would be initiated by the people against the government.
Promise to Restore the Rule of Law
If elected, Peter Obi pledged to prioritize the restoration of law and order, declaring that reestablishing the rule of law would be one of his first actions in office.
