APC’s Felix Morka Dismisses South-North Alliance Claim in Peter Obi-Rabiu Kwankwaso 2027 Ticket
The National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Felix Morka, has rejected the idea that the partnership between Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso reflects a South-North political alliance ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
Speaking to Tribune, Morka described the Obi‑Kwankwaso ticket of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) as simply two individuals — one from the South and the other from the North — without any broader regional coalition backing them.
“What is the South and North alliance in Peter Obi and Kwankwaso? There is no such thing. They are two individuals, yes, one is from the South, one is from the North. They are two individuals,” Morka said.
He contrasted this with the APC, claiming his party possesses the nation’s strongest coalition, with leaders and members spread across every part of Nigeria.
