Kiekie Declines Collaboration with Vulgar Skit Makers
Nigerian content creator and Nollywood actress Bukunmi Adeaga Ilori, popularly known as Kiekie, has made it clear that she will not work with skit makers whose content leans heavily on vulgarity.
When pressed for a specific name, she said she could not single out one individual but noted that many creators focus excessively on sexualised themes such as breasts and buttocks. While she respects their hard work, she feels such collaborations would clash with her personal brand.
Kiekie stressed that her decision is not a judgement of others’ talent or effort. Instead, it is a strategic move to protect how her own brands are perceived by audiences and partners.
Living Together Before the White Wedding
In the same interview, Kiekie also opened up about why she chose to cohabit with her husband before their formal wedding. She explained that her rental agreement had expired at the time, and since they had already completed their traditional rites, moving in together seemed the most practical option.
The discussion was led by entertainment journalist Rachel Okporu, a graduate of Linguistics and Communication Studies who enjoys internet surfing and making new connections.
