A Nigerian woman has ignited online fury after publicly voicing her provocative stance on matrimony and unfaithfulness.

In a circulating clip on X (formerly Twitter), she asserted that she would never wed for love, preferring to unite with an affluent partner capable of meeting her material desires while she maintains a liaison outside the marriage.
She explained that affection holds little significance for her, viewing love‑based unions as erroneous.
“I’m the sort of individual who will never enter matrimony for love. I will consistently choose a spouse I dislike, enabling me to betray him. I will never be a loyal wife, under any circumstances.”
“I intend to marry a wealthy man. I have no desire to love you, nor to be loved by you. I eagerly anticipate settling with someone who fulfills all my requirements while I pursue a relationship elsewhere,” she remarked.
She further stated that she would conceal her extramarital activities from her future husband, claiming she could feign unavailability when meeting another man.
She also emphasized that romantic love carries no worth for her, insisting that her priority lies in financial stability rather than emotional bonding.
Her statements have provoked a spectrum of reactions across social platforms; numerous users condemn her perspective, whereas others contend that her comments mirror contemporary debates concerning matrimony, finance, and interpersonal connections.
