Lateef Adedimeji Shares How He Addressed Mo Bimpe’s Religious Concerns Before Marriage
Nollywood actor and producer Lateef Adedimeji has spoken candidly about the concerns his wife, Mo Bimpe, raised regarding their different religious backgrounds when he proposed marriage.
The actor revealed that he is a Muslim while Bimpe practices Christianity, but he emphasized that faith was not a barrier for him.
“I promised never to marry someone from my industry, but God had better plans. I am a Muslim, she’s a Christian. It didn’t matter to me because the most important thing before religion is my peace.”
My peace.”
Lateef acknowledged that Bimpe initially had reservations about the union, but he insisted on meeting her father to address those worries.
“She had her concerns, but I told her to let me meet her father, and the rest is history.”
In addition to discussing their marriage, the actor dismissed the recent wave of AI‑generated triplet photos that have been circulating online.
“Also, those children you are seeing with us on social media are not the faces of our triplets because it’s AI. When we are ready, we will reveal their faces.”
Lateef Adedimeji’s openness sheds light on how interfaith couples can navigate personal beliefs while prioritizing mutual respect and peace in their relationship.
