Content creator Celynukam has sparked online reactions after alleging that her estranged fiancé and the father of her child subjected her to emotional abuse, threats, and manipulation following the birth of their baby.
Her Instagram Statement
She shared her experience on Instagram Story, explaining that after a C‑section she is caring for her newborn alone and no longer feels safe in Lagos because her former partner allegedly threatened to break into her home and take the child abroad if she does not meet his demands.
In her own words: “As a nursing mother, my life is currently not safe in Lagos. After undergoing a caesarean section and looking after my newborn by myself, they would threaten to come break my door and take away my child to another country if I don’t comply with their demands.”
She added: “Caring for a baby while dealing with depression is overwhelming. My only mistake was loving a man and being an empath. I even had to apologize for calling off the wedding because I didn’t want to finance the ceremony.”
Denial of Financial Motives
Celynukam also denied claims that she was after her fiancé’s money, insisting that she financially supported him throughout their relationship.
Allegations of Manipulation and Spiritual Accusations
She further alleged that he tried to manipulate her into paying his rent and that both he and his mother accused her of being possessed by a “marine spirit.”
“You said I was after your money and I drained you dry. Did you tell them how I paid your bills and covered everything? You almost gaslighted me into paying your rent,” she wrote.

Her statements have generated mixed reactions online. As of this report, her estranged fiancé has not publicly responded to the allegations.
