Buba Galadima Accuses NASS of Aiding Tinubu to Undermine Opposition
Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) chieftain Buba Galadima has leveled serious accusations against President Bola Tinubu and the National Assembly, claiming they are collaborating to weaken Nigeria’s opposition.
Speaking on the state of democracy, Galadima said that since Tinubu’s inauguration, the president has focused more on political maneuvering than on delivering the democratic dividends Nigerians expect.
“For the last two years I have been criticising the APC and its government,” Galadima stated. “From the day Tinubu was sworn in, he has been politicking instead of providing services to the people.”
The NDC leader warned that Tinubu, backed by the National Assembly, is attempting to destroy opposition candidates and parties, and has even dragged the judiciary into this broader scheme.
Despite these actions, Galadima expressed confidence that democracy in Nigeria will survive and outlive any attempts to subvert it, whether by the APC, Tinubu, or their allies.
