Popular Nollywood actress, Wumi Toriola, recently delivered a powerful response to a social media user. This individual had left an unpleasant comment on her Instagram page.
The incident unfolded shortly after a recent post by the actress. A troll commented on her page, mocking her fiercely. The user referred to Toriola as “mother of one child.”
Wumi Toriola’s Strong Reaction
Known for her assertive personality, Toriola did not hold back. She responded with a detailed message on her page, directly addressing the troll.
She questioned the troll’s motive for the unprovoked attack. She also urged her followers to visit his page and respond to him. Toriola further stated that the fame he sought would bring him stress. It would ultimately deny him peace.
Her message, written in a mix of English and Yoruba, read:
“Unclez. I don’t know you. You woke up and typed ‘OLOMO KAN’ on my page. I don’t understand what you mean, but I want my followers to bless you with a curse. Onigba omo, e ma sesin ni. Amin. You still dey bully Olomo kan abi, eni jeere. Amin. That stardom, you will get, but it will cause u trouble and will not give you rest. covenant_home.”
Her Journey Through Motherhood
Wumi Toriola tied the knot in 2018. She and her then-husband later welcomed their first child, a son named Zion Toriola. However, in January 2023, the actress publicly announced that her marriage had come to an end.
Despite the separation, Wumi has openly shared that she and her ex-husband maintain an amicable co-parenting relationship. She has also expressed her heartfelt desire to have more children in the future.
