The person who recorded the original footage informed her that the video had circulated across various social platforms and asked whether she was aware of its popularity.
She replied that her child had already shown her the viral clip.

The corn seller denied making N2.5 million every month, arguing that if she truly earned that amount she would not still be standing under the sun selling roasted corn.
She appealed to Nigerians to forgive her, emphasizing that the claim was made for content and that she did not anticipate the level of attention it would receive.
