A Nigerian individual identified as @MrMekzy_ has disclosed the outcome of his self‑imposed experiment monitoring his daily water intake across a six‑month span.
He explained that his motivation at the year’s outset was to quantify his water usage over half a year, with the long‑term goal of measuring a full year’s consumption.
To ensure precision, he retained every empty bottle he had drunk, whether he was indoors or out.
He stored the collected bottles in his vehicle and later transferred them to his residence.
After six months, he tallied 55 packs, which equated to 660 bottles of 75 cl Aquafina water.
His calculations revealed a total intake of 495 litres of water over the six‑month timeframe.
He characterized the outcome as “not bad at all,” prompting comments from online users who admired his disciplined hydration routine and meticulous record‑keeping.
“At the start of the year I set out to determine how much water I would consume in six months, and ultimately over a full year.”
“I deliberately kept every empty bottle I had finished, even those consumed away from home, placing them in my car before bringing them indoors.”
“After six months I had used 55 packs, equivalent to 660 bottles of 75 cl Aquafina, which adds up to 495 litres of water.”
He responded, suggesting that Aquafina Nigeria reward him with a full container of water on his behalf, adding “Not bad at all🙂↔️💧”.
