Lady Sparks Debate on Compensation for Pregnancy and Childbirth
Lady stirs discussion online after arguing that men should compensate women for carrying and giving birth to their children.
In a video that has drawn considerable attention, she explained that pregnancy and childbirth entail major physical, emotional, and lifestyle sacrifices, and therefore women deserve some form of recognition from their partners.
She noted that many people consider the idea strange simply because it is not commonly practiced or talked about.
According to her, compensation does not always have to be monetary; men should find meaningful ways to acknowledge and reward the burdens of pregnancy and childbirth.

“Ladies men should pay us to have their babies. Yes I said it. I finally said it. I know it sounds crazy right now because we are not used to it, but I swear you’re worth it. How do we normalize giving birth to a baby and the baby takes the father’s name for free? If he can afford it, he should pay you. If they cannot afford it financially, they should pay you another way, you can be creative about it. The keyword is payment, he must pay.
