NDC Denies Authenticity of Viral Candidate List for Imo, Abia, Anambra Elections
The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has called on the public and its supporters to disregard a circulating list that claims to be the official roster of candidates for Imo, Abia and Anambra states in the upcoming elections.
Party spokesperson Enekweizu emphasized that the authentic candidate list has already been filed with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) through the proper channels stipulated by the Electoral Act.
He warned that the fabricated list is being spread by individuals seeking to undermine the party, and said the NDC is investigating the source of the misinformation to prevent disruption and reassure members of its commitment to a stronger Nigeria.
