A Nigerian man generated online buzz after describing how a chance meeting with an attractive woman at a hair salon on his birthday left him feeling remorseful.
In a TikTok video, he explained he visited the salon to reopen a pierced ear when he noticed a lady he called a “dark queen,” and an instant spark occurred.
He said: “It’s my birthday, so I decided to reopen this ear. As soon as I walked into the salon, I saw this stunning woman. She glanced at me, I returned the look, and that’s when the chemistry began.”
He noted they exchanged looks during his visit, both directly and via the mirror, leading him to believe there was a mutual connection.
Nevertheless, despite feeling inclined to approach her, he hesitated after recalling a viral tale about a man who supposedly faced embarrassment after asking a woman for her number.
He added, “As I prepared to make that move, I told myself, ‘Chris, take it easy.’ The things we see online these days would make anyone cautious.”
According to him, the regret lingered after he left the salon, as he couldn’t stop thinking about the woman.
He revealed he later phoned the salon to check if she was still there, admitting he still feels guilty for not speaking up when he had the opportunity.
The incident has sparked discussion online, with many urging him to return to the salon and take his chance.
