In an emotional statement spreading across the internet, she highlighted the sacrifices single mothers endure while raising children alone after being deserted by irresponsible partners.
She explained how these mothers labor relentlessly through various trades and hardships just to secure a brighter future for their kids.
According to her, one of the most anguishing moments is seeing a daughter mature only to become a single mother herself, despite all the prayers and efforts made to prevent such an outcome.
She also pointed out the emotional and financial strain older mothers sometimes experience when they must again assist in caring for grandchildren because their daughters struggle with absent or irresponsible partners.
She continued, “Nobody discusses the anguish of being a single mother. All you dream for your girl is a better life, hoping she won’t tread the same path you walked, yet you still see her become another single mother. Our mothers sacrificed everything to raise us, juggling many businesses, wishing that child wouldn’t follow your footsteps, but she ends up a single mother under your roof, and you find yourself once again searching for means to provide for her….”
