A Nigerian court has ruled that Nollywood actress Regina Daniels must complete drug rehabilitation and undergo evaluation by Abuja Social Welfare authorities before gaining access to her children with Senator Ned Nwoko.
Daniels revealed her estranged husband filed for full custody of their sons. The children currently remain in Nwoko’s care. The actress expressed frustration over repeated public exposure of her children.
Daniels’ Allegations Against Nwoko
Via Instagram, Daniels claimed the public displays constitute deliberate attention-seeking. She alleged Nwoko dismissed her nannies and pressured them to falsely portray her as violent and alcoholic.
Nwoko’s Legal Response
Nwoko denied preventing access in his Tuesday statement. The lawmaker confirmed court-ordered conditions for visitation rights. He referenced Daniels’ own social media posts featuring their children.
Nwoko questioned Daniels’ sudden opposition to such posts. The senator highlighted her past sharing of family content online.
Social Media Controversy
The custody dispute includes conflicting views on children’s social media exposure. Both parties have publicly shared family content previously.
