Felix Morka, the National Publicity Secretary for the All Progressives Congress (APC), recently made a statement. He asserted that opposition parties are fixated on the ruling APC.
Morka made these comments during an Arise Television interview on Friday. He believes the opposition has neglected their own internal matters. Instead, their focus remains solely on the APC.
He also linked the wave of defections to the APC to internal failures. These issues, he explained, exist within other political parties.
Morka stated, “Other parties should focus on themselves. Instead, they spend their time concentrating on the APC. They are obsessed with us. We remain unbothered.”
He continued, “The All Progressives Congress is actively fulfilling its democratic role. We are not engaging in any unusual actions. Our conduct should not concern any Nigerian.”
“We act responsibly in consolidating our democracy,” Morka emphasized. “In fact, we are exceeding expectations. Our efforts aim to deepen democratic principles.”
He added, “Our doors stay open. This reflects the essence of democracy. Citizens have the freedom to choose their political association. They can join or leave parties like the APC, ADC, or PDP.”
“I listened to spokespersons from the PDP and ADC,” Morka noted. “I challenge them to provide proof. Let them show evidence that the APC has acted improperly as a democratic party.”
