The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State has issued a strong warning. The party declared that the 2027 election is not for “confused coalitions” or “political experiments.”
According to Oladejo, the opposition currently faces “full-blown confusion.” He stressed that the dispute between the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and Peter Obi is now more than an internal disagreement. It is a “public confession of collapse.”
Oladejo also cautioned the opposition. He urged them to stop distracting President Bola Tinubu. He labeled their actions as “needless politicking and manufactured drama.”
He noted the opposition is fighting amongst itself. Meanwhile, the APC remains focused on governance. The ruling party prioritizes economic recovery and security stabilization. It also targets infrastructure expansion and national renewal. This steady progress is under President Tinubu’s leadership.
APC Urges Focus on Governance, Not Distractions
“At this critical juncture,” Oladejo stated, “it has become expedient to warn the opposition. They must stop distracting Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Their actions include needless politicking and manufactured drama.”
“There is no dispute about Nigeria’s enormous national challenges,” he acknowledged. “President Tinubu is steadily, courageously, and competently poised to overcome them. This is for the collective betterment of all Nigerians.”
The APC, as the ruling party, sees no reason to rush election campaigns. “Our numerous achievements will speak loudly for us,” he added. These include gains in infrastructure, economy, and security. They also cover social investment, education, health, transportation, and national reforms. These successes will be evident at the appropriate time.
On the other hand, “the opposition offers nothing new,” he claimed. They rely on “recycled slogans and empty promises.” Nigerians can now “see through these deceptions” with clarity and experience.
“Let the records show it clearly,” he urged. “2027 is not for confused coalitions. It is not for political experiments. 2027 is for prepared leadership.”
The ADC-Obi face-off is “no longer an internal disagreement.” It is now a “public confession of collapse.” The opposition is “in full-blown confusion,” he concluded.
Peter Obi’s “Panther” Strategy Criticized
Oladejo noted Peter Obi avoids direct competition. Instead, Obi “positions himself like a panther.” He stalks distressed political parties. He waits patiently to strike when desperation peaks.
He further elaborated on a “deeper dilemma.” Peter Obi has “perfected a strange political posture.” Obi, a presidential aspirant, “hardly competes.” He waits patiently, “like a panther.” He stalks parties in distress, striking when desperation peaks.
Nigeria has an “unwieldy number of political parties.” It is easy to guess what Obi expects, he added. Just like in the 2023 Presidential Elections, he awaits “another free presidential ticket.” It’s like “political manna” falling mysteriously into Obi’s lap.
“This is not political organisation,” he asserted. “It is political lottery masquerading as strategy.”
