Legendary Nigerian singer Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, recently had a concerning conversation with Wizkid’s associate, Godson. This exchange occurred amidst the singer’s ongoing marital crisis with his wife, Natasha.
Godson shared a screenshot of their private chat on his Instagram story on Thursday. He voiced deep concern regarding the issues between 2Baba and Natasha. Godson strongly urged the music icon to resolve the situation, emphasizing the well-being of his growing children.
“All of this video is not right, baba. Fix up,” Godson wrote in his message. He implored 2Baba to “think about your amazing kids.” Godson described the situation as an “internet Nollywood drama or cruise” that had gone far enough. He quoted a Benin parable, stating, “shame nor Dey catch thief like the family,” suggesting the public humiliation was excessive. He urged 2Baba to “STOP it and wake the f*** up.” Godson also remarked, “This is not the same man who introduced me to ‘biggest bird’ pls.”
In response, 2Baba thanked Godson for his outpouring of love and concern. The singer then admitted to feeling incredibly overwhelmed by the situation. He confessed to Godson that he felt like “just mad” (going crazy) due to the persistent stress.
“Thanks for all the love, Uyi,” 2Baba replied, addressing Godson. He added a note of weary optimism, “We will all be alright last last.” The music legend continued, “I super proud of u as u move bro, I appreciate your love and concern always.” Addressing his personal turmoil, 2Baba concluded, “Me I just wan kuku just mad so pls sorry for disappointing u and all the stress.” He then added, “No worry yourself abeg, udon try.”
