This confidence vote was adopted during the 37th Legislative Sitting. All 26 lawmakers jointly signed the motion. It demonstrated widespread support for the President.
The House highlighted President Tinubu’s commitment to inclusive governance. Many Rivers indigenes have received key federal appointments under his administration. This was a major point of commendation.
Lawmakers Laud Tinubu’s Leadership and Impact
Hon. Major Jack, the House Leader, led the debate on the motion. He praised President Tinubu for maintaining policies. These policies have brought economic benefits. Both the state and its local governments have gained from them.
Jack described the President’s leadership approach as fatherly. He noted ongoing federal projects. Strategic appointments are also impacting communities across Rivers. These initiatives show a clear positive influence.
Speaker Martin Chike Amaewhule also shared his remarks. He called President Tinubu a compassionate father of the nation. Amaewhule stated that the President had kept his promises to the Rivers people.
He further pointed out significant appointments. So far, 39 sons and daughters of the state have been appointed. They now hold positions of trust in the Federal Government. This development, he stressed, underscores Tinubu’s confidence in Rivers indigenes.
