Nigerian music icon, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has addressed the ongoing marital issues with his wife, Natasha.
He publicly released a video, urging everyone to “cease fire” regarding the situation. The singer denied making a viral “cry for help” post on social media.
2Baba described the intense public reaction as “a dangerous situation.” He implored his fans and the wider public to stop further speculation. He stated that the circulating message placed Natasha in a precarious position. 2Baba assured everyone that their marital challenges would be resolved privately.
2Baba’s Brother Raises Concerns
Meanwhile, 2Baba’s brother, Hyacinth Idibia, has voiced serious concerns. He spoke about his brother’s well-being and marriage to Natasha. On Wednesday, Hyacinth shared a post on his Instagram story.
He made an emotional plea: “Allow us save you, Oyinem,” he wrote. “You have been suffering for too long. God knows.”
Hyacinth also shared an audio recording of an older 2Baba song. The track featured lyrics about an independent woman “chopping” all his money. He highlighted 2Baba’s foresight and lyrical genius. Hyacinth remarked how these “inspiring” lyrics now seemed to be “unfolding real time.”
