CAF Concludes Training for AFCON 2025 Match Officials
In a related development, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) recently concluded a crucial training course. This course was for match officials selected for the 2025 AFCON tournament.
The program was held in Cairo. It gathered referees, assistant referees, and VAR officials. Technical and physical instructors also participated.
CAF stated the training’s main goal. It aimed to ensure all selected officials are fully prepared. This preparation is vital before the competition begins.
Last week, CAF confirmed the list of 73 officials chosen for AFCON 2025. The roster includes 28 referees, 31 assistant referees, and 14 VAR specialists.
Morocco will host the 2025 AFCON. The tournament runs from December 21 to January 18.
