Eze Chukwuemeka Eze has strongly criticized Senator Orji Uzor Kalu. Eze, a former National Publicity Secretary of the defunct New Peoples Democratic Party (nPDP), rejected Kalu’s claims. Kalu had stated that opposition politicians are fueling Nigeria’s rising insecurity.
From Port Harcourt, Eze described Kalu’s allegation as “disgraceful and unsubstantiated.” He called it a “high display of sycophancy, eye service, and betrayal of the highest order.”
Eze urged the former Abia State governor to be courageous. He should confront President Bola Tinubu with the truth. Tinubu’s performance as president, Eze stated, has been “woeful and clueless,” creating harsh realities for Nigerians.
“How can a sane mind believe this?” Eze questioned. “Only someone suffering from political hallucination would assume opposition politicians sponsor bandits. This is to destabilize President Bola Tinubu’s government.”
“Orji Uzor Kalu must be bold and patriotic,” Eze asserted. “He should tell Tinubu the full truth. Nigeria is currently in a very dangerous state, ‘sitting on a keg of gunpowder.’ It is ‘hopelessly bleeding’ under the President’s watch.”
“President Tinubu needs visionary, truthful, and proactive friends right now,” Eze stated. “He does not need timid politicians. These individuals speak ambiguously just to gain political favor.”
“Instead of assigning blame, they should offer solutions,” Eze advised. “Address the widespread kidnappings, killings, and destruction of lives and property. This continues despite the huge funds spent by the Federal Government on security.”
Eze also criticized Senator Adams Oshiomhole. Oshiomhole holds similar views to Kalu on the matter.
Eze’s Message to Kalu and Oshiomhole
“My dear Senators Kalu and Oshiomhole,” Eze began. “What we see in our country is not calculated violence. It shows President Tinubu has completely failed to protect Nigerians.”
He continued, “Tinubu has no answer to Nigeria’s current security problems. He is clueless, and this is shameful. Advise him directly; do not blame others.”
Eze dismissed claims of a “calculated attempt to destabilize” the administration. “Go and advise him to be more proactive. He must protect Nigerians,” Eze urged. “He should focus on governance. His focus on 2027 is premature, given his woeful performance as President.”
Eze then challenged Kalu and Oshiomhole. He demanded they name the sponsors of insecurity in Nigeria. He stressed that their silence is pure cowardice. It implies they are “privy to what is going on.”
“Name them if you truly know them,” Eze dared. “If you know them, then you are part of them.” He pressed further, “Who are these politicians? Are they trying to make Tinubu fail? This is similar to their alleged attempts against former President Goodluck Jonathan.”
Eze expressed his disappointment. “Senators Kalu and Oshiomhole failed to address Nigeria’s security issues,” he stated. “Instead, they blamed opposition politicians, both locally and internationally. They lacked the courage to name the individuals they had in mind.”
