Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday recently shared a significant development. She revealed how she facilitated the arrest of a woman. This woman secretly filmed her during a gym workout session.
Earlier this year, photos of the actress went viral. These images were taken during her workout at a Lagos gym. The incident led to intense body-shaming online.
Tracking Down the Culprit
Blessing discussed the incident on the “Honest Brunch Podcast”. She disclosed tracking down the woman herself. She then ensured the woman’s arrest.
The actress recounted the impact of the unauthorised clip. It sparked widespread public mockery. She insisted on holding the culprit accountable. This happened after the gym reportedly withheld the woman’s identity.
Blessing expressed her anger over the privacy violation. She stated, “iFitness hid her information from me. I found her. I got her arrested, of course.”
Defending Her Natural Body and Privacy
Before detailing the arrest, Blessing condemned her mockers. She defended her natural body. She also dismissed comparisons to women who had cosmetic surgery.
She candidly stated on the podcast, “You get BBL, you dey snap me wey get natural body. Are you stupid, sis?” Blessing maintained she dresses for gym comfort. She does not aim to impress anyone.
She further added, “This is who I have been. I wear clothes that make me feel comfortable. I am not trying to hide from nobody.” The actress affirmed she would not pretend to be flawless during exercise.
