The 10th edition of the Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup Grand Final has successfully wrapped up at the Gloria Golf Resort in Antalya. This event once again affirmed its status as the world’s most extensive corporate amateur golf competition.
Held from November 17 to 21, the tournament solidified its reputation. It is widely regarded as one of the most prestigious amateur golf events globally.
A Decade of Global Golf Excellence
Since its launch in 2013, the Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup has transformed into a major global sporting phenomenon. Over 750 tournaments have been hosted across 85 countries and 130 destinations. More than 60,000 amateur golfers have participated over the years.
This year alone, over 10,000 amateur golfers competed. They took part in 122 events spread across 83 countries. These local competitions all led to the grand finale in Antalya.
Crowning the Champions
Pakistan’s Adeel Shafqat secured the highest honour of the tournament. He emerged as the Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup 2025 Gross Champion. Shafqat finished seven over par with a total score of 151.
In the elite Gold TAWGC Category, Jose Garcia San Juan of the United Arab Emirates claimed first place. He scored 73 stableford points over two rounds. Seifeddine Zarzour of Algeria took second, while Abdul Rehman Qureshi of Pakistan finished third.
Mexico’s Agustin Valdes Kato excelled in the Silver Category. He secured the title with 78 stableford points over two rounds. Michael Sharaiha of Jordan placed second. Wang Fan of China completed the podium in third.

Ahmet Harun Baştürk, Turkish Airlines’ Senior Vice President of Sales (Region I), lauded the tournament’s impact. He noted its role in strengthening the airline’s global connections and brand influence.

The Antalya Grand Final united 120 top amateur golfers from across the globe. This was a fitting event for one of the world’s premier golf destinations.
