A Nigerian lady has shared her views on dating, saying that today’s economic climate is influencing how many men approach relationships.

In a video that has been circulating online, she mentioned that she has remained single for four years, even though she receives advances from men. She noted that many of those who show interest are either married or considerably older.
She also pointed out that younger men who express interest often propose casual encounters rather than serious commitments, which she attributes to the financial pressures many individuals face.
According to her, the tough economy has made it harder to find partners willing to commit to a serious relationship, and she remarked that “it takes the grace of God to find a good man nowadays.”
She said, “I’ve been single for four good years now. I’m not saying men don’t approach me, but the ones who do are often other people’s husbands—married men or much older men. I wondered what was happening, being in my twenties. Later I realized nothing was wrong with me; I even prayed about it. I’ve observed that many men are dealing with a lot. This economy has changed men’s behaviour. Nobody seems to have time. Even the younger guys who come to me say, ‘Let’s just do business.’ No one wants to be committed anymore. Some men have even turned to Agege. I know a guy who looks completely normal but is pure Agege. The economy is really messing with people. It truly takes divine grace to encounter a good man now….”
