Davido Says Wife Chioma Manages His Finances Amid Lavish Spending
Davido Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, confessed during a recent livestream that his wife, Chioma Adeleke, handles his money because of his tendency to spend recklessly.
While on a call with Chioma, he asked her to transfer $4,000 to his personal assistant, Lati, after experiencing login issues.
He greeted her affectionately, saying, “Hello, hello baby, good morning my wife, my love. Help me send Lati $4,000. I can’t login, I don’t know why, is the service here. Alright. We’re taking off now to Naija, I love you.”
When streamer Davrel inquired whether Chioma had been managing his finances, Davido replied, “Of course, you know I’m a reckless spender. Na she dey arrange everything. Na my life coordinator be that.”
He further disclosed that his monthly outflow ranges from $200,000 to $300,000 (approximately ₦300 million to ₦400 million), excluding costs for his wife, household, luxury cars, and jewellery.
“I spend between $200,000 and $300,000 every month and that doesn’t even include my wife’s expenses or the rest of my household,” he said, adding that luxury purchases are also separate.
