A Nigerian resident has voiced his anguish online after his spouse suffered a bite from a neighbour’s dog.
He chose to stay unnamed and turned to Facebook to narrate what happened to his family.
Spouse Allegedly Bitten by Neighbor’s Dog
He explained that the attack occurred as she was making her way back from work.
The animal lunged unexpectedly, sinking its teeth into her, prompting an urgent trip to the hospital for care.
Family Seeks Assistance from Dog Owner
They reached out to the dog’s keeper on multiple occasions, asking for help with the medical costs.
Nevertheless, the owner declined to contribute to the expenses, even after being notified of the incident.
Owner’s Remark: “Sue the Dog”
Instead of accepting responsibility, the keeper allegedly instructed the family to pursue legal action against the animal itself.
He shared his plea in the following words:

My wife’s neighbor’s dog attacked and bit her while she was returning from work, and she had to be rushed to the hospital for treatment.
The owner of the dog has refused to assist with the hospital bills despite several appeals. Instead, he told us to ‘sue the dog.’
