APC Announces Kashim Shettima as Tinubu’s 2027 Running Mate
The National leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) formally announced Vice President Kashim Shettima as the running mate to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the 2027 presidential election.
The announcement came during a stakeholders meeting that also featured members of the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF), led by its chairman and Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma.
Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters, Ibrahim Kabir Masari, confirmed that Tinubu and Shettima are the APC’s presidential and vice‑presidential candidates for the 2027 election.
