A Nigerian woman has ignited widespread online reactions after confessing to several foolish actions she performed for love during her relationship with her former boyfriend.

She started by describing a moment when her ex fell seriously ill and lacked the strength to leave his bed.
“If you ever feel foolish, just remember the time I was still with my ex when he was extremely unwell, unable to rise from the bed.”
She then disclosed one of the most startling incidents from their time together.
“She explained that when saliva filled his mouth, she requested he transfer it into hers so she could dispose of it elsewhere, sparing him any discomfort.”
The woman also described how she shielded her partner from unsanitary conditions while they walked Lagos streets.
“Whenever we encountered dirty water on the road, I would step into it first, preferring that it touch me rather than his legs.”
She further revealed that her ex was the first to receive any financial alerts sent to her.
“He always got the notification of incoming money before I did, then informed me of the amount received.”
After giving birth to their child, she grew uneasy when he continued to introduce her as merely his girlfriend, despite their marital status.
“After our baby arrived, I disliked him referring to me as his girlfriend because I felt it misrepresented our situation; I wanted people to know we were not just dating.”
She admitted that she initiated the conversation asking him to call her his wife.
“I begged him to start addressing me as his wife to avoid the impression we were unmarried; we even argued about it before reaching an agreement.”
