Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso has firmly dismissed speculation about a rift involving star forward Vinícius Júnior, asserting the matter is fully resolved and the Brazilian remains central to the team’s plans.
Addressing media through journalist Fabrizio Romano, Alonso stated: “There’s no Vini Jr case, it’s all clarified. Vini spoke in front of all of us on Wednesday, and he’s been fantastic. His statement was powerful and honest.”
The coach confirmed no disciplinary measures would follow: “Vinicius Jr will not be punished. The matter is closed. His speech to teammates was impeccable.”
Alonso also discussed young striker Endrick’s limited playing time: “I would have liked Endrick to have had more minutes, but circumstances must align.”
Reports indicate Endrick could depart on loan during the January transfer window, with Madrid already negotiating with interested clubs.
