A Nigerian woman shared on social media the result of borrowing ₦800,000 from her uncle. In a post on her X account (@official-QV), she noted that the loan was made without any written contract.

The Loan Incident
She explained that her enterprise struggled for eight months before collapsing, which erased her uncle’s funds, trust, and confidence. After the setback, she met him in person, feeling speechless as he gazed at her for a long moment.
Recalling the conversation, she said, “I approached him face‑to‑face, sat down like a child, and he stared at me for a while before asking, ‘How much do you need to try again?’ Unable to speak, she received another ₦200,000 from him, with the words, ‘Repay me when you are able; just don’t give up.’”
A few months after the business failure, she informed her uncle of the outcome. Shortly thereafter, he decided to involve security agents in the matter.
Public Reactions
Stockman remarked, “You have not behaved well toward your uncle. You wasted the initial ₦800,000, then squandered the additional ₦200,000 he gave you, and returned for a third time. What did you anticipate?”
Lucy commented, “Even after the police leave, you will return again; the aim is to persist until you succeed—don’t surrender.”
Don Sapzy wrote, “Perhaps another dose of motivation is needed; maybe the authorities will reset your mindset. Audacity is crying beside you, so you flaunt your uncle’s one‑million lifestyle, reminiscent of a Hushpuppi sibling.”
Chukwuebuka added, “Your uncle is a decent man; this level of boldness deserves the attention of the DSS.”
