Tottenham Agree Free Transfer for Veteran Goalkeeper Martin Dubravka
Tottenham Hotspur have reached an agreement to sign experienced goalkeeper Martin Dubravka on a free transfer, set to take effect when his Burnley contract expires on 1 July 2026.
Dubravka, who made 35 Premier League appearances for Burnley last season, becomes Roberto De Zerbi’s fourth summer acquisition, following the arrivals of Marcos Senesi, Andy Robertson and Jan Paul van Hecke.
At 37, the Slovak international brings a wealth of experience, having previously played for Newcastle United and Manchester United. His arrival comes amid ongoing speculation about the future of Italy’s Guglielmo Vicario, who is attracting interest from Serie A clubs.
Dubravka expressed enthusiasm about the move, saying it represents an exciting new chapter for him and his family, and praised De Zerbi’s style and the passionate Tottenham supporters.
He highlighted that negotiations progressed swiftly and he is eager to contribute. De Zerbi praised Dubravka’s leadership, mentality and the balance he will bring to the squad as Spurs continue their rebuilding project.
The goalkeeper’s résumé includes 197 Premier League appearances and 51 clean sheets, qualities De Zerbi believes will strengthen the team’s competitiveness.
Leeds United Close in on Fulham Winger Harry Wilson
Leeds United are nearing a deal to bring Fulham attacker Harry Wilson to Elland Road after agreeing on a four‑year contract with the Wales international.
The transfer is pending a medical examination and the completion of final paperwork. Leeds faced interest from several other Premier League clubs and have finally secured a player they unsuccessfully pursued on deadline day last summer.
Wilson enjoyed a standout season at Fulham, scoring 11 goals and providing eight assists in 38 appearances across all competitions, earning the club’s Player of the Season award. Despite Fulham’s attempts to retain him, the forward is now set for a new challenge.
Leeds remain active in the market, monitoring former Borussia Dortmund midfielder Julian Brandt, who is available on a free transfer, and keeping an eye on Southampton’s Shea Charles after an initial £20 million bid was reportedly rejected.
