Lege Miami Speaks Out After Being Excluded From Seyi Tinubu's Birthday Documentary

Nigerian actor and musician Adams Kehinde, widely known as Lege Miami, has publicly addressed his exclusion from a special documentary produced to commemorate the 40th birthday of Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu.

In a viral video that circulated on social media on Friday, Lege Miami explained that the segment where he extended birthday wishes to Seyi Tinubu was removed from the final documentary because of his inability to speak English fluently.

He clarified that Seyi Tinubu himself was not to blame for the decision, emphasizing that the issue stemmed from his own linguistic limitations. Lege Miami stated, “I am responsible for my predicament because I am the one who doesn’t speak good English. If I spoke good English, Seyi Tinubu would have included me among people who speak good English and are rich.”

He further recounted how the production team had visited his home to record his message, but the footage was later excluded from the final documentary. Despite this, Lege Miami maintained that Seyi Tinubu remains his friend and that the incident should not be misconstrued as a falling-out between them.

Lege Miami also addressed the online buzz surrounding the incident, urging his followers to stop tagging him on social media as it had become unbearable. He reiterated that the responsibility lay with him and not with Seyi Tinubu or his team.

This incident has sparked conversations online about the importance of eloquence and representation in media, highlighting a unique challenge faced by public figures in Nigeria.
