Usani Expresses Gratitude, Shares Journey

Expressing her gratitude, Miracle Usani thanked the governor and the people of Cross River State for the recognition. She shared insights into her challenging journey to professional football, highlighting the obstacles she overcame.

“My journey wasn’t easy. Growing up, I was often told that girls who play football become masculine and struggle to get married. There were no female teams in my local area, so I had to play with boys. It was challenging, but my determination kept me going. Today, I am proud to represent Nigeria and Cross River at the highest level,” Usani shared.

She dedicated her success to God, her parents, and the people of Cross River State, acknowledging their unwavering support throughout her career.
