A woman recently shared her difficult experience. She was in a long-term relationship. Her lover was a married man. He frequently vowed to marry her after his sick wife’s death.
Her story indicates the relationship began in 2018. The man approached her. He asserted his wife was critically ill.

Initial Promises and Growing Family
He promised she would replace his wife upon her passing. Convinced, she committed to the relationship. They had their first child in 2019. A second child arrived in 2021.
Years went by. His wife remained alive. When questioned, he cited divine will. Feeling frustrated, she ended the affair in 2023. He still supported their children financially.
Renewed Hope and a New Pregnancy
Late last year, he reported his wife’s three-week hospitalization. This news reignited her hope. She believed they could finally be together. She decided to reconcile. Tragically, she became pregnant again in April 2024.
Upon learning of her pregnancy, he disclosed his wife’s recovery. She had returned home. He asserted they now slept separately. Heartbroken, the woman felt trapped. She had endured years of false hope. Now, only broken promises remained.
The woman’s full account is below.
“I request anonymity.
In 2018, a man sought my affection. He revealed his marital status. He stated his wife was very ill. I agreed to a relationship. He promised I would replace her after her death.
We welcomed a child in 2019. A second followed in 2021. I often asked about his wife’s status. He consistently replied, ‘everything is in God’s hands.’ I ended our relationship in 2023. Yet, he supported our children.
Late last year, he called. He said his wife was hospitalized for three weeks. This news offered me hope. I saw a future with him. So, I reunited with him.
I became pregnant again this April. It was our third child. After I shared the news, he revealed his wife’s discharge. He claimed they now slept in separate rooms.
I am truly confused. My patience has lasted for years. Still, nothing has changed.”
