A Nigerian woman recently sought public assistance on social media. She is looking for her husband, Luqman Jajah. He reportedly blocked her communication.
The woman, identified as Abiba Ibrahim, explained her husband vanished weeks ago. He blocked her after she demanded to meet his family. This situation has left her distressed.
The Woman’s Account
Abiba Ibrahim recounted the details of their relationship. After their wedding, she moved to Ghana. Her husband then arranged an apartment for her in Canada.
She noted their one-year anniversary is approaching this Ramadan. Ibrahim stated that she has never met his relatives. She urged him to seek a divorce if he no longer desires the marriage.
Ibrahim’s plea was direct and emotional. She shared it on her Facebook page. Her message read:
“Please, help me. My husband is missing. He blocked me. This happened because I asked him to take me to meet his family members. We had a little misunderstanding. So, he blocked me. We got married when I was working outside the country. After the marriage, he asked me to come back to Ghana and stay with him. I agreed. He rented an apartment for me at Ablekuma Canada. Later, he told me to inform my family so that his family could come and celebrate with me. This coming Ramadan will be our one-year anniversary. But I have never met his family members. Guys, please help me find him. His name is Luqman Jajah. If he doesn’t want the marriage, he should come and divorce me and get out.”
The social media post also included a screenshot of her plea.
