In a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), Chizy offered her perspective. She stated that she and her partner, Heritage, were never married. Their relationship was one of cohabitation.
“We only cohabited for five years,” she explained. “During that entire time, he never paid my bride price. There was no wedding ceremony either.” She stressed her point. “I am not married. No one should call me a married woman. We simply lived together. He never even considered marrying me.”
