The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has committed to supporting supporters of President Bola Tinubu who are contesting in upcoming elections.
Speaking during the commissioning of the Provided Engineering Infrastructure in Wuye District, the Minister warned that Nigeria is on the brink of a “political tsunami”.
He urged those who have not yet made a decision to quickly choose a side.
He stated: “For all of you who are running in an election and are supporting Mr. President, rest assured that I will support you too. I have no regrets.”
“I said here, if you are supporting Asiwaju, I am going to support you. Anywhere you are, the moment I know you are with Bola Tinubu, you get my support 100 percent.”
“So if you know you have not changed your mind, better change your mind because very soon, there will be a political tsunami. It is Asiwaju all the way,” Wike said.
The minister also commended the staff of the FCT Administration for their diligent work in ensuring the provision of infrastructural developments.
“Let me use the opportunity to thank everybody who works with FCT, let me say stand up and take a bow, you have done well. All of you who work in FCT, stand up and take a bow. In fact, stand up and take a bow.”
“You have done well. You have done well. Those who are not happy, may they not be happy in their lives. I am so happy. Thank you very much for your support,” he added.
