Local Reactions: Warri Community Condemns Verydarkman
After the airplane incident, several Warri men criticized Verydarkman. They voiced their displeasure regarding his dispute with Mr Jollof.
They issued a direct threat. He should remain outside Warri. Otherwise, he might face public humiliation. This includes being stripped.
Conversely, the residents praised Mr Jollof. They felt he upheld their community’s honor. They also noted he would have faced repercussions if he had failed.
The residents conveyed their message clearly. They stated, “If we see you in Warri, we will undress you.” They added, “Verydarkman, we once respected you. Now, you are no longer welcome.” They further questioned his actions: “Are you disrespecting a Warri native on a plane? We do not want you here! Jollof is not someone to trifle with.” They concluded, “Jollof, thank God you represented Warri well. If you had disgraced us, you could not return.”
A video capturing these strong sentiments circulated online. In it, residents explicitly warned, “If we see you in Warri Delta state, we will strip you naked.” This message from Warri locals was directed at Verydarkman. It followed his conflict with Mr Jollof.
