Social media personality Martins Vincent Otse, known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has offered his account of a recent airborne dispute. This altercation involved fellow media figure Freedom Okpetoritse Atsepoyi, also known as Mr. Jollof. The incident occurred during a commercial flight.
VDM released a video post-landing. He clarified the confrontation followed weeks of intense online disagreements.
Aboard the aircraft, VDM spotted Mr. Jollof. He reportedly confronted him, stating, “Today, you will slap me.” This comment referred to their continuous online conflict.
VDM later posted on Instagram about the event. He wrote, “Mr. Jollof, you bit me, your fellow man. Indeed, Jollof would have killed me if I hadn’t defended myself; God saved me.”
VDM asserts the dispute intensified after Mr. Jollof initiated physical contact.
VDM then reacted. The situation worsened when Mr. Jollof reportedly bit him. VDM humorously remarked that the bite almost damaged his tattoo, attributing it to “unbrushed teeth.”
Other passengers on the flight intervened. They sought to separate the individuals and re-establish peace.
Currently, neither Mr. Jollof nor the airline has issued an official statement.
