Bandits stormed their Nissi community home. The attack occurred on October 28, 2025. They kidnapped the couple and their daughter. It was a late-night raid.
The kidnappers initially demanded N600 million. This ransom was later reduced to N200 million. Sadly, the family could not gather the funds.
Diocese Confirms Tragic News
The Diocese of Kaduna, Anglican Communion, expressed profound grief. They announced the “passing unto glory” of Venerable Edwin Achi. He served as Priest-in-Charge of Ebenezer Anglican Church, Ungwan Maijero.
