Nollywood actress and politician Tonto Dikeh has shared candid reflections on her romantic past. She revealed she holds no regrets about her previous relationships despite their challenges.
Dikeh acknowledged her second relationship taught her tough lessons about love and trust. While she wouldn’t necessarily repeat those experiences, she emphasized she doesn’t regret them. The actress stated she willingly entered those relationships.
These experiences became valuable growth opportunities. Dikeh explained they allowed her to evolve, gain wisdom, and move forward positively.
The actress described being frequently underestimated. She believes people don’t fully recognize her capabilities. Dikeh declared it’s time to demonstrate her true potential.
In her own words: “Honestly I have only regretted one thing in my life but my relationship no. My first relationship gave me the most beautiful boy in the whole world.”
She continued: “The second one taught me that even if you show me true love you can still be the devil. I learnt so much from my relationships. I will never say I regret them.”
When asked if she would change her past: “Should I have been there? If I could go back, I probably wouldn’t have gotten involved. But I don’t have the right to regret what I went through. I put myself there. My focus is to grow, learn and move on.”
Dikeh concluded powerfully: “People should recognize my strength. I’m often underestimated. Many don’t know what I can do. Now is the time to show them.”
