Nollywood actress and politician, Tonto Dikeh, recently shared a powerful testimony. She spoke about her deliverance from prolonged demonic anger. She also overcame addictions to smoking, alcohol, and masturbation.

Speaking before a congregation, the movie star revealed her journey. She started smoking at just 13 years old. For years, she battled addictions to alcohol and masturbation. Tonto Dikeh credits divine intervention for her remarkable transformation.
She described her appearance at the altar as both a testimony and a moment of thanksgiving. Initially, she almost withdrew. Concerns about her public image caused this hesitation.
Struggles with Demonic Anger and Addictions
Tonto Dikeh directly shared her struggles. She stated, “I smoked since I was 13.” She also added, “God healed me from masturbation, too.” She recounted experiencing “sexual intercourse in the dream ever since I was a child.”
She further revealed a struggle with “demonic anger.” This anger, she confessed, “destroyed my life.” She added, “Everybody had to feel it.” However, praying with NSPPD brought a change. “God took all of those away and gave me peace,” she affirmed.
Tonto Dikeh recalled resisting external pressure. She said, “The devil tried to tell me that I was supposed to protect my image.” But she challenged this thought. “What image?” she questioned. “The God that gave me the image is the same God that can take it away,” she concluded.
Finding Freedom and Peace
Regarding her freedom from masturbation, Tonto shared a key experience. After attending the Ghana Prayer Conference, she observed a significant change. She had endured years of what she termed “spiritual oppression.”
She stated, “I realised that the weak man who held me captive all my years in my dream ran away.”
Tonto expressed her newfound serenity. She revealed she had never known true peace until recently. “I am 40 years old,” she emphasized, “and I can tell you I have never known peace until now. I am living in it.”
Tonto Dikeh’s smoking habit endured for approximately 27 years. She disclosed that it began due to exposure within her home. She strongly urged parents to shield their children from harmful habits.
She shared the origin of her habit. “I started smoking because my dad was a smoker,” she confessed. She warned about parental influence: “Something as little as that habit can inhabit the lives of your children.” Now, her body rejects it. “My body does not ask for it,” she said. “My body is repelling it. Today, it is broken.”
