Critics had questioned Imade’s absence. One message, seen online, read: “Sophia, why don’t you allow your daughter to celebrate with his dad?”
Sophia responded directly to these criticisms. She stated the circulating stories were false. She added that they were deliberately twisted. Their aim was to portray her as the problem.
The entrepreneur stressed her role as a protective mother. She urged people to stop involving her child. Online drama should not include Imade.
Imade’s privacy remains Sophia’s main priority. She warned against spreading falsehoods. These lies concerned her daughter’s well-being.
Sophia then posted a strong statement. She wrote:
“You people have been doing this false narrative thing for over 10 years now. And while I try to be as graceful as I can, I’m also a very protective mother. Say whatever you want about me, it’s ok. But leave my child alone. This is non-negotiable. Imade is not a bargaining chip for her mother to conform.”
Davido recently celebrated his 33rd birthday. The event took place over the weekend. Many friends and family members attended. This included the singer’s other children. However, Imade was notably absent from the festivities.
