Anambra State Governor Charles Soludo has publicly ridiculed the All Progressives Congress (APC) for initiating their governorship campaign merely seven days before the upcoming election. The criticism came during Soludo’s campaign rally in Abagana, Njikoka Local Government Area.
The APC had launched its campaign earlier at the All Saints Anglican Church Cathedral in Onitsha. At that event, party representatives described their candidate Nicholas Ukachukwu as a “messenger of hope.”
Governor Soludo dismissed the opposition’s efforts as unserious. He characterized the timing as both shocking and laughable. “This demonstrates their lack of commitment,” Soludo stated at his APGA rally.
The governor offered direct instructions to voters. “When election day arrives, I urge you to collect their money, enjoy it, but vote them out decisively,” he advised the crowd.
Soludo expressed supreme confidence in his reelection prospects. “I face no genuine competition in this race,” he declared, pointing to his administration’s development record over three years. “Our transformation agenda speaks for itself, but victory requires your votes on election day.”
