Fulham manager Marco Silva has voiced his apprehension regarding the potential absence of loanee Samuel Chukwueze. The Nigerian international may be unavailable for at least 15 days due to the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
Chukwueze is expected to join the Super Eagles camp. He will prepare for the 2025 AFCON. The prestigious tournament is set to commence on December 21 in Morocco.

Silva Praises Chukwueze Amidst Concerns
Following Fulham’s recent match against Manchester City, Silva commended Chukwueze for his impressive performance. The coach openly expressed his delight with the Nigerian winger’s impact. However, he also conveyed deep concern about losing him once more to international duties.
“He’s getting better and better,” Silva stated on the club’s official website. “Unfortunately, we’re going to lose him in 15 days. This will be the third time in the last three months.
“But it is what it is. Until then, we must get the best from him. Let’s hope we can do it on Sunday again.”
