A sales representative reportedly used N1.2 million from a staff contribution scheme. She opted to fund a cosmetic tummy tuck procedure. This surgery aims to flatten and firm the abdomen. It removes excess skin and fat.
Footage of the incident spread on social media. User @dammieadenuga first shared the video.

Shop Incident: Funds Misappropriated
The shop owner explained her initial intentions. She aimed to boost her employees’ financial well-being. A staff contribution scheme was established for this purpose.
Under the plan, participants pooled their money. One individual would then receive the total sum. This was to help them start a personal venture.
The initial collection reached N1.2 million. This amount was disbursed to the sales representative. Unexpectedly, she spent it on abdominal cosmetic surgery.
Employer’s Disappointment and Confrontation
The employer was visibly upset. She confronted the employee about the cosmetic procedure. The boss stressed that she had always found her employee’s figure perfectly fine.
The employer questioned the decision, asking, “What happened to this tummy?” She affirmed the employee’s existing beauty. She argued that a man who truly loves would accept her as she is. Physical appearance should not dictate affection.
