Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has publicly accused her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, of imposing what she describes as a “diabolical” condition for her brother Sammy West’s release from custody.
Reports indicate Sammy West remains detained without legal representation or access to basic necessities like food and water. Allegedly, Senator Nwoko vowed to maintain the detention until Regina returns to their marital home.
In a Tuesday Instagram post, Daniels expressed outrage over the demand. She highlighted the contradiction in Nwoko’s actions, recalling his frequent characterization of her as “the most useless wife.” The actress questioned why he would insist on her return under these circumstances.
The movie star stated: “This is now a case of kidnapping. Holding my brother down till I return is diabolical!! What do I call this now? Love or obsession? You have always said I am the most useless wife. Why do you need that useless wife back?”
Daniels demanded her brother’s immediate release, emphasizing that regardless of any alleged wrongdoing, Sammy’s parents and family deserve access to him. Her post concluded with a direct appeal: “Free my brother! No matter what he did, his parents and family should be able to see him, Nigeria Police!!! Free Sammy West.”
