Afrobeats icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, and his wife, Natasha Osawaru, were involved in a public altercation. The incident occurred during a live Facebook session hosted by media personality Daddy Freeze on Monday evening.
During the stream, 2Baba was heard in a tense voice. He told his wife, “Shut the f*** up, you need to shut the f*** up.”
Natasha Osawaru quickly responded. Though off-camera, her voice was clear. She said, “Innocent, bring that phone, let him see us together.” She then asked, “Is that Daddy Freeze’s?” and insisted the phone be pointed at them.
A struggle for the phone ensued. Frustrated, 2Baba warned, “See what you are doing.” Shortly after, the audio from his end abruptly cut off.
Confusion grew among viewers. Daddy Freeze, the host, addressed them. He urged everyone to remain calm. He hoped for stability to understand the situation. Daddy Freeze then ended the Facebook Live session soon after the incident.
This live session was intended to clarify an earlier incident. A viral clip showed Natasha Osawaru yelling at 2Baba in a shopping mall. He was briefly detained there. Daddy Freeze started the broadcast to address this confrontation. However, the intervention itself escalated into further drama.
