Jarvis, the girlfriend of popular Nigerian streamer Peller, has shared her emotional reaction to his recent car crash. The accident, which occurred on Sunday, nearly claimed Peller’s life, leaving him hospitalized.
In a widely circulated video clip, Jarvis appeared visibly distraught and struggled to control her emotions. She expressed her anguish, questioning why such events were unfolding around her. “I tried. You guys, I’ve tried. Why me? Why me now? What did I do? Why? Me?” she cried.
Jarvis also made a pointed statement, asserting that “You guys know the truth. Una know the truth.” Her plea for understanding resonated with many online viewers.
Background to the Incident
Peller was hospitalized following the severe accident involving his newly acquired Mercedes-Benz. The incident took place along the busy Lekki-Epe Expressway in Lagos.
Tragically, the crash occurred while Peller was conducting an Instagram live session. Moments before the accident, a visibly emotional Peller was heard discussing relationship problems. He also made alarming threats of self-harm during the livestream.
The content creator repeatedly voiced his fears about a potential breakup. He threatened to harm himself if the relationship ended. “I will use this car and have an accident right now,” he stated during the live broadcast.
Peller continued, expressing his fear of public mockery should a breakup occur. “I’m scared. If you break up with me, people will be mocking me, they will be mocking me,” he lamented, adding, “Thank you, I’m going to kill myself.”
